As you know sprout is very healthy when we eat it fresh, but we can also eat sprouts by making some cooked dishes. In cooking case there may be some ingredients loss but it is still very healthy enrich with fiber iron and protein. Litti chokha is very delicious Eastern UP, Bihari dish. There are many versions of this dish. Some are made from only wheat flour and some are made with atta and filling of sattu(roasted gram flour) with several spices. Some time we are cooking bati by frying it some time we are baking it kandi(Doung Cake) fire. This usually served with chokha, chutney, pickle and butter.

It is a very simple nutritious recipe using hung curd. Now what is hung curd. For making hung curd, take fresh curd and tightly tie it in muslin cloth. Hang it for at least 5 hrs so as to drain water completely.

In my village people use to make pakoda with chana daal because it is tastier than made using besan. But process of making pakodas using chana daal is bit different and it requires more oil to fry(only drawback).
